Steve Saxon is a well-respected DP & Cinematographer. He has a passion for shooting and traveling; combining both, over the span of his cinematography career. His work has taken him to five continents and twenty countries. Stevehas worked in TV and Film for over 30 years and has accumulated great experience in camera work, lighting, Steadicam operation, managing crew, and has an extensive list of impressive contacts.

As a cinematographer, Steve blends his role as a camera technician engineer with true creative artistry to aid the director in visual storytelling. He knows exactly how to capture the images the director describes, and has a strong camera eye for great composition. His is committed to pursuing perfection and is detail-oriented and highly-creative, on the spot.

When he is not playing his drums, or perfecting his Spanish, he is looking for the ideal image to convey the right message. Or, he may be hard at work on the interpretation of a scene and desired effects. For sure, you will find him studying the  latest photographic technology.

Steve has shot two independent feature films, showing a great capacity for managing the problems of limited equipment and crew, while maintaining a distinctive visual character, for both short films & documentaries.
